The beginning of smitty

We are starting a blog to post interesting thoughts and blog about our new features.

II hope you come across this and enjoy reading it.

I believe that AI chatbots are becoming increasingly developed and more prevalent in our daily lives. This is also our approach with our AI chatbot, Smitty. Unlike large models, Smitty possesses specific knowledge of the business, in contrast to general models. A Large Language Model (LLM) typically has a lot of general knowledge and draws from various sources it has been trained on. In everyday life, AI is already quite common. For example, Facebook uses facial recognition in photos through AI. There are cities where traffic lights are controlled by AI, managing the flow of the city. It is already being applied in various ways. We may not go that far with Smitty, but we do see a business case for deploying our chatbot for support departments, and we also consider a chatbot for policy conditions.

The business case here primarily lies in the fact that fewer people need to be hired to answer questions that can easily be found on a website, FAQ, or in a knowledge base. Smitty is a tool where all of this can be easily integrated.

Have I piqued your interest?

For the latest developments of our tool, we have set up a demo at https://www.smitty.ai/demo with pre-prepared chatbots that are freely testable. This allows you to try out the technology. We also offer the opportunity to create your own chatbot for free in our environment and link documents to it for chatting purposes at https://app.smitty.ai
